Works with shredded file cards from a paediatrician’s practice or with PVC foil.

The sculptures are formed of 4 mm broad stripes as they come out of a document shredder. The stripes are only sticked together at their ends. The surprising solid and body like shape evolves from utilising the tension and inherent statics of the material itself. The shapes are as tall as real human bodies.
